Rufus V. Yeargan, 86, of Clanton died on March 7, 2010.

He was born on Friday, February 29, 1924 in Chilton Co., Alabama, son of the late Ira B. Yeargan and the late Minnie Culp Yeargan.

He was a farmer.

Surviving are 2 Sons, Dr. Kenneth Yeargan of Midway, KY; Mr. Ricky Yeargan of Lexington, KY; Grandson, Mr. Bret Yeargan of Sacramento, CA; Sister Nell Yeargan Williams of Verbena, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loraine Yeargan.

Friends will be received Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 10-11A.M. at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Nobles officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Clanton, AL.
