Carol Gibson Woodard

Carol Gibson Woodard, 73, of Verbena, Alabama passed away April 2, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster, Alabama. She was born October 29, 1947 daughter of the late Joseph Gibson and the late Bertha Gibson. She was a homemaker, beloved mother and world traveler. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Perdue University. Carol worked many years for Ma Bell and retired from the University of Michigan as an Office Manager. Surviving are her Son, Jonathan (Andrea Steffes) Woodard; Daughter, Samantha (Jared Diganci) Woodard; Sister, Susan Putman; Loving Ex-Husband, Ronald Woodard. She was preceded in death by her Father, Joseph Gibson and Mother, Bertha Gibson. Graveside Services will be held , April 5, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Verbena Cemetery.
