Mims and the late Ella Mae Minor Mims. He was a Carpenter. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Velma C. Easterling of Verbena, AL; 4 Sons, Alvin Mims of Boaz, AL, Lawrence Mims of Jemison, AL, Edwin Easterling of Clanton, AL, Jerry Easterling of Verbena, AL; 3 Daughters, Mrs. Cecilia Lovette of Montevallo, AL, Mrs. Lisa Jackson of Jemison, AL, Mrs. Anna Adams of Clanton, AL; 15 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Osbon Mims of Clanton, AL; Sister, Ms. Betty Joyce Mims of Clanton, AL. He was preceded in death by his Daughter, Debbie Hand. Friends will be received from 5-8, Tuesday, July 6, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
