Charles Alvin Ousley, 66, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 16 at home. He was born on November 12, 1953. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Edna Ousley, his son, Clifford Earl Ousley, brothers, Bill and Joe, sister, Martha, sister-in-laws, Bobbie, Sandra, and Pat. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Pam. Children, Cody and Julie Knight, Neal Ousley and Emily Thrash. Granddaughter, the love of his life, Carter Lynn Knight. Brothers: James Ousley, Gene and Brenda, Wayne and Libby, Danny and Gloria. Sisters: Brenda and John Mickler, Mary and Tony Nichols, Edna and Billy Hester. Brother in laws: Ed and Laurie Day, Charlie Maples Sister in law: Faye Ousley 25 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A host of dear friends and co-workers at Chilton Contractors, including Allen & Roddy Payton. Also, precious friends across the Southeast within SERA Racing, SECCA Racing, and Perry Mountain Motorcycle Club. An avid outdoorsman, Charles enjoyed turkey hunting, fishing, sports shooting, NASCAR, attending sporting events his children participated in throughout the years, and watching videos on his phone with Carter. He was a valued friend, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was an expert at running heavy equipment who rarely missed a day at work. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of prayers and love shown during this difficult time. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 5-8pm at Martin Funeral Home. Service will be Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 11:00am at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Rasberry officiating.
