Charles W Brooks, 82, of Clanton, Alabama passed away November 2, 2022, at  Hatley Health Care in Clanton, Alabama.


He was born October 12, 1940 in Alabama, son of the late J.D. Brooks and the late Evelyn Jones Brooks Patterson.


He was a Minister and served at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, Refuge Baptist Church, Antioch Baptist Church, Bell Lane Baptist Church, Samaria Baptist Church, New Convenant Baptist Church and Mineral Springs Baptist Church.


Surviving are his Wife, Anna "Patty" Brooks; Daughters, Lashelle (Steve) Harris; Son, David (Stephanie) Brooks; Granddaughters, Amber (Ryan) Cardwell, Elizabeth (Lynn) Jones, Britney (Edward) Ray, Caroline Brooks, Anna Brooks; Grandson, Caelan Brooks; Seven Great-Grandchildren and Four Great Great-Grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his Father, J.D. Brooks; Mother, Evelyn Patterson; Son, Paul  Brooks; Brother, Kenneth Brooks.


Friends will be received Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Samaria Baptist Church.


Services will be held Sunday, November 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Samaria Baptist Church with Rev. Evie Megginson officiating.


Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
