Christine Simms Easterling, 88, of Prattville, Alabama passed away May 29, 2021 at Baptist South in Montgomery, Alabama. She was born October 3, 1932 in Alabama, daughter of the late Phillip Benson Simms and the late Nell Sumner Simms. She was the Owner of the Dairy Queen in Montgomery, Alabama. She was a Christian and Loved the Lord. Surviving are her Daughter, Linda Easterling (Kenny) Reynolds; Son, Bill Easterling; Daughter-in-law, Brenda Easterling; Brother, Dr. Phil Simms; Six Grandchildren, Nine Great-Grandchildren, Seven Great-Great Grandchildren, and a long list of Nieces, Nephews and Friends. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Charles E. Easterling; Son, Mike Easterling; Sister-in-law, June Simms; Father, Phillip Benson Simms; Mother, Nell Sumner Simms. Friends will be received Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, Alabama.
