Frank Eugene Nelson, 90, of Thorsby died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. He was born on Tuesday, May 10, 1921 in Shelby Co., AL, Son of the late Monroe "M.O." Nelson and the late Lola Johnson Nelson. He was a Brick Mason. Surviving are his Wife, Dorothy Nelson of Thorsby, AL; 2 Daughters, Linda (Milan) Hogg of Thorsby, AL, Anita E. (Mike) Brown of Jemison, AL; Brother, Wayne (Jean) Nelson of Thorsby, AL; Sister, Dorothy Dean (Carrie)Wood of Nashville, TN; 2 Grandsons, Frankie (Cheryl) Brown of Thorsby, AL, Joel (Jennifer) Brown of Thorsby, AL; Granddaughter, Andrea (James) Gilliam of Jemison, AL; 4 Great Grandsons, 1 Great Granddaughter, 1 Great- Great Grandson. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Friends will be received from 1-2, Friday, April 27, 2012 @ Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Services will be held Friday, April 27, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at Graveside with Rev. Kent Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cem., Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
