Homer KIRKLAND, 72, of Clanton died Sunday, June 20, 2010. He was born on Wednesday, July 21, 1937 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late George Kirkland and the late Pearlie Baker Kirkland. He was a Roll Mill Operator. Surviving are his Wife, Mildred Kirkland of Clanton, AL; 4 Step-daughters, Dorothy (Jim) Wyatt of Alabaster, AL, Judy (Leon) Roberson of Clanton, AL, Susan (Wendell) Moore of Verbena, AL, Barbara Foshee of Clanton, AL; Sister, Mary Kate Riggins of Clanton, AL; 10 Step-Grandchildren, 16 Great Step-Grandchildren. Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, June 21, 2010 @ Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at 2:00 P.M.. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Drinkwater officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, AL 35045. Martin Funeral Home directing. www.martinfuneralhomeinc.com
