James Leonard Owen, 62, of Jemison died Monday, July 31, 2017. He was born on Monday, October 18, 1954 in Jefferson Co., AL, Son of the late Volmer Durwood Owen and the late Connie Sue Franklin Owen. He was a Truck Driver. Surviving are Son, Jamie Owen (Rita Blackmon); Stepson, Greg Burnett (Christine); Step Daughters, Tonya Bracknell, Brandy Posey (Joel); Grandchildren, Bradley Bracknell, Melissa Bracknell, Kayla Posey, Koby Posey, Cody Owen; Great-Grandchildren, Chevy & Skylynn Grace. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Mary Diane Owen, Parents, Durwood & Connie Sue Owen, Grandparents, James V. & Grace Owen. Friends will be received from 12-1, Thursday, August 3, 2017 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, August 3, 2017, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Chapel.
