Linda Kay Childress Blankenship

Linda Kay Childress Blankenship, 73, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away November 10, 2022, at St. Vincent's Chilton in Clanton, Alabama.

She was born December 1, 1948, in Alabama, daughter of the late William Childress and the late Elizabeth Childress.

She was a lunchroom worker at Jemison Elementary School for 21 years.

Surviving are her Husband, Jerry Wayne Blankenship; Son, Jeffrey Wayne (Sharon) Blankenship; Grandson, Aaron Blankenship; Granddaughter, Ashlyn Blankenship; Sister, Brenda (Gene) Ousley; Brother, Bill (Deborah) Childress; Brother-in-law, Johnny Blankenship; Beloved nieces and nephews of the Childress and Blankenship Family.

She was preceded in death by her Father, William Charles Childress and Mother, Elizabeth Christine Childress.

Friends will be received Monday, November 14, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Monday, November 14, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama.
