Mary Ruth Lowery, 75, of Jemison died Friday, August 23, 2013 at her residence. She was born on Monday, June 6, 1938, in Alabama, Daughter of the late Wilbert B. Maddox and the late Melvie Childress Maddox. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Husband, Mr. James Lowery of Jemison, AL; Sons, Mr. Greg Robinson of Jemison, AL, and Mr. Barry Robinson of Jemison, AL; Sister, Mrs. Louise Franklin of Birmingham, AL; 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild. Friends will be received from 1:30-3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Pates Chapel Baptist Church. Services will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist with Rev. Gary Jones and Rev. Randal Mims officiating. Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
