MATTIE LOGAN HANN was born December 24, 1921, and died peacefully at her home in Auburn, Sunday June 19 at the age of 89. She had bravely fought a lengthy battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late William Logan and Mindy Ann Murphy. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Pat" Hann; son, Jimmy Wayne Hann; brothers, Harmon, Ordan and Doyle Logan. She is survived by son, James Paul Hann; daughter, Rhonda Taylor and beloved daughter-in-law, Norma Hann. Three grandchildren; Paul (Regina) Hann and Rebecca (Roger) Kent, both of Clanton, AL. Valerie Holman of Milledgeville, GA. Seven great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is close, loving sister, Jean Cook of Prattville, AL. Many loving nieces and nephews. She loved all people and had an array of friends, many of whom developed during her long employment at Queen Anne Laundry. Her passion was for her beautiful flowers and love of birds. Mattie will be laid to rest along side her husband of 38 years at White City Cemetery, White City, AL. Services will be conducted by Rev. Robert Griffin in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home, Clanton, AL. Services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 21. The family will receive visitors at Martin Funeral Home
