Ronnie Jeff Mathis, 67, of Clanton, Alabama passed away May 29, 2020 at his residence in Clanton, Alabama. He was born October 13, 1952. The son of John Allen Mathis and Mary Nell Mathis. He was a Construction Worker. Surviving are his Wife, Vanessa Mathis; Daughter, Rhonda M. (Chad) Gray; Daughter, Amanda M. (Brian) Hightower; Daughter, Kristi L. (Jonathan) Mathis; Daughter, Tara M. (Jason) Wright; Grandson, Jess Mathis; Granddaughter, Lexi "Scooter" Gray; Grandson, Gabe Gray; Granddaughter, Katherine Wright; Granddaughter, Kloee Mathis; Granddaughter, Evie Gray; Grandson, Tyler Wright,; Grandson, Mathis "Spud" Hightower; Brothers, Sammy (Marsha) Mathis; Sisters, Paula (Roger) Mims; Cheresa (Tony) Aarhus. He was preceded in death by his Parents, John Allen Mathis and Mary Nell Mathis; Brother, James Allen Mathis. Pallbearers will be: Chad Gray, Brain Hightower, Gabe Gray, Allen Burnette, Bob Lacey, PJ Gurley, and Jess Mathis. Friends will be received Monday, June 1, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Mount Bethel Baptist Church . Services will be held Monday, June 1, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Bethel Baptist Church with Tim Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Lime Springs Methodist Cemetery.
