Vivian "Ann" Martin Porter, 88, of Jemison, Alabama passed away February 14, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born November 28, 1936, in Chilton County, Alabama, daughter of the late Orvil Burnette and the late Era Lee Burnette.
She was a former secretary for the Jemison school system. Ann was blessed with a servants heart, and she enriched the lives of everyone who met her. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Surviving are her Grandchildren, Joshua (Brittany) Martin and Bethany (Patrick) Rattan; Great-Grandchildren, Mason King Martin, Olivia Rosa Martin, Kason Rattan and Taylor Wakefield; Sister, Jimmie Ranke; Special Friend, Janet "Dennis" King; and a host of other special friends through the years.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Orvil Burnette; Mother, Era Lee Burnette; Husband, Charles Raymond Martin; Husband, James Oscar Porter; Son, Kenneth Martin; Siblings, Nollie Jean, Herman, John and Bonnie.
Graveside service will be held Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Midway Memorial Gardens with Rev. Doug West, Rev. Michael Brasher and Rev. David Hand officiating.
Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.
