William Carlton "Pete" Rhodes, 87, of Clanton died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Hatley Health Care. He was born on Saturday, April 21, 1928 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Reuben Rhodes and the late Katie Driver Rhodes. He was a Shoe Repairman. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Frances Rhodes; Daughters, Ms. Barbara Minor, Mrs. Lisa (Jason) McCullough; Son, Mr. Ricky (Penny) Rhodes; Sister, Mrs. Minnie Thompson; 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Father, Mr. Reuben Rhodes; Mother, Mrs. Katie Rhodes. Friends will be received from 2-3 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. W.T. Cleckler officiating. Interment will follow in Glad Tidings Cemetery, Clanton.
