William George McBride, 79, of Clanton died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Sunday, July 23, 1933 in Illinois, Son of the late Edward James McBride and the late Mary Andrews. He loved hunting & fishing. He retired after 22 1/2 years in the Army serving in Korea and Vietnam. Surviving are his Wife, Beverly McBride of Clanton, AL; 2 Daughters, Doris Ann (Jay) Clarkson of Waterford, MI, Laura Lee (David) Michael of Montevallo, AL; Son, William Richard McBride of Las Vegas, NV; 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Edward James & Mary McBride, Grandson, William Thomas McCorkle, Brother, James McBride, Sister, Pat McBride, Sister, Shirley Frankfother.
