Ada Martin Robinson

Ada Martin Robinson, 94, of Clanton, Alabama passed away December 11, 2022 at her home.

She was born December 22, 1927 in West Blocton, Alabama, daughter of Marvin Martin and Millie R. Martin.

After graduating Auburn University with a degree in Science, she chose to be a homemaker until moving to Clanton. She began teaching at Adair Middle School for the next 25 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clanton.

Surviving are her Son, Lyndon Keith Robinson; Daughter, Dinah Marie (Philip) Callahan; Grandchild, Bradley Keith Robinson; Grandchild, Christine Marie (Garrett) Cheney; Grandchild, Andrea Katelyn (Trevor) Fitzgerald; Great-Grandchild, Chloe Marie Cheney; Great-Grandchild, Harper Ann Cheney; Great-Grandchild, Jackson Lyndon Cheney; Great-grandchild, Claire Elizabeth Fitzgerald.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Marvin Martin; Mother, Millie Martin; Husband, Lyndon Robinson; Brother, Marvin R. Martin; Brother, Robert E. Martin; Sister, Virginia Conlon; Sister, Eleanor Richardson.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Wes Kelley officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
