Alice Virginia "Ginger" ADKINS, 68, of Clanton died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Tuesday, December 19, 1939 in Moorehead, Mississippi, Daughter of the late Thadeus Franklin Hickman and the late Virlie M. Towry. She retired from the Social Security Administration as a Claims Representative . Active member of the Mulberry Baptist Church. Volunteer with the Womens Auxillary at Chilton Medical Center. Surviving are her 2 Daughters, Donna B. (Terry) McMinn of Maplesville, AL, Brenda G. Brewer of North LittleRock, AR; 4 Granddaughters, Stephanie ( Jason) Harris of Clanton, AL, Jamie (Michael) Frost of Jemison, AL, Terri Ann Smith of Jemison, AL, Nikki McMinn of Jemison, AL; Grandson, Justin McGinty of North Little Rock, AR; 6 Great-Grandchildren; Makenna J. Frost, Haylee McMinn, Trey Dennis, Trinity Smith, Noah McMinn, Keelon Lawley. She was preceded in death by: her parents: Thadeus & Virlie Hickman, Two Brothers; William & Frankie Hickman..
