She was born on Sunday, February 12, 1922 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Andy Smitherman and the late Barbara Ann Cleckler Smitherman. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her 4 Daughters, Debra Cooedy of Clanton, AL, Shirley Ann Smitherman of Bibb Co., AL, Judy Knox of Clanton, AL, Rebecca Parnell of Fairhope, AL; Son, James W. Garrett of Clanton, AL; 17 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, R.E. Garrett, Daughter, Martha Latham and Son, Donny Garrett. Friends will be received from 6-8, Friday, February 24, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
