Allene Mitchell Mims, 80, of Jemison, Alabama passed away November 23, 2022 at Selma Health and Rehab.

She was born May 26, 1942 in Chilton County, Alabama, daughter of the late Charles Mitchell and the late Cozy Mitchell.

She was a Homemaker.

Surviving are her Daughter, Debra (Sonnie) Carter, Son, Samuel Ralph (Rebecca) Mims, Jr., 8 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild, Brother, Jerry (Nikki) Turnipseed.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Charles Elbert Mitchell, Mother, Cozy Lee Mitchell, Daughter, Sherry Rena Mims, Brother, Leon Mitchell, Brother, Kenneth Mitchell, Special Friend, Buddy McGraw.

Friends will be received Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, Alabama.
