Alma Alene Wright

Alma Alene Wright, 87, formerly of Clanton, Alabama, passed away on September 12, 2013 at Cape Coral, Florida. She was born March 15, 1926 in the Concord community, in Jefferson County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Ellis "Doc" Dennis and the late Ammer Ingram Dennis. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother, and a loyal and loving grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Surviving are her daughter, Jo Ann Wright of Great Falls, Montana; her son, James Douglas Wright of North Fort Myers, Florida; her granddaughters, Amy Wright King (Jovan) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and Candyce Wright, North Fort Myers, Florida; her grandson, Dean Wright of New Hampshire; her great granddaughter Alexis Poaletti of Massachusetts; her sister, Levonia Clackler Duren, of Littleton, Colorado; her daughter-in-law, Darlene Munson Wright, North Fort Myers, Florida; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Martin Wright; her sisters, Dorothy M. Raines and Ola P. Smitherman, and her son-in-law, Thomas G. Thode. Friends will be received from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday September 15, 2013 at Martin Funeral Chapel. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday September 15, 2013 at Martin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Matt DeBord and the Rev. Jay Hurd officiating.
