Alma Marzelle Carter, 91, of Clanton died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. She was born on Thursday, March 10, 1921 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Jeffery Traywick and the late Nancy Cagle Traywick. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are Husband, Billy Carter; Daughter, Helen (Joe) Cole; Grandson, Joel (Melissa) Cole; 3 Granddaughters, Debbie Cole (Chris Dodd), Denise (Michael) Petty, Leigh Ann (Blake) Cochran; 7 Great Grandchildren; Special Friends, Tracy Dempsey & Dyson Dempsey, CJ & Taylor Dodd. She was preceded in death by her Son, William T. Carter. Friends will be received from 1-2, Tuesday, December 11, 2012 @ Shiloh Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Smith and Rev. Ernest Fike officiating.
