Alvin Eugene "Gene" DUREN, 75, of Clanton died Monday, April 26, 2010 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. He was born on Thursday, May 31, 1934 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Edgar Duren and the late Fannie Mae Scott Duren. He was an Electrician . Surviving are his Brother, James T. Duren of Atlanta, GA; 2 Sisters, Faye Ramey of Atlanta, GA, Rena Marcus of Clanton, AL; A host of nieces & nephews. Friends will be received from 12-1PM, Wednesday, April 28, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at 2:00PM. at Mars Hill Cemetery with Rev. Greg Nobles officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
