Alvin Lonza Headley

Alvin Lonza Headley, 88, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away July 15, 2025, at John Knox Manor in Montgomery, AL.

He was born March 24, 1937, in Alabama, son of the late Lonza Headley and the late Lula Headley.

He was a finish trim carpenter for years before he retired from the City of Montgomery as a building inspector. Alvin loved many things in life including his family and gardening.

Surviving are his Sons, Nathan Alvin Headley, James Nolan (Tammy) Headley, Gary (Julie) Headley; Daughter, Kathy Marie (Kenny) Ward; Grandsons, Ben (Gretta) Headley, David (Jodie) Headley, Garrett (Meredith) Headley, Zachary Shows, Chance (Katie) Ward; Granddaughters, Amanda (Neal) Moses, Brenna (Dustin) Owen, Madolynn (Tyler Baggett) Headley, Lyndsey (Caleb) Pierceson, Chelsea (Win) Auerbach; 14 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Robert (Ola Mae) Headley; Sister, Lois Hamilton.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Adeline Litaker Headley; Father, Lonza Alvin Headley; Mother, Lula Headley; Brothers and Sisters, Sam, Francis, Clarence, Renfroe, Earnest, and Eunice.

Friends will be received Friday, July 18, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Golson officiating.

Interment will follow in Floyd Baptist Cemetery, Verbena, Alabama.
