Alvin Reed Mims, 92, of Clanton, Alabama passed away March 4, 2021 at his residence in Clanton, Alabama. He was born September 26, 1928 in Clanton, Alabama, son of the late William Mims and the late Roberta Mims. He was an Owner of Jack Mims Grocery. Surviving are his Sons, Jack Mims and Greg Mims; Grandson, Anthony Mims; Granddaughter, Ami LaBarre; Great-Grandson, Jacob Mims; Great-Granddaughters, Brenna Mims and Preslea Cornett. He was preceded in death by his Father, William Jack Mims, Mother, Roberta Mims, Wife, Eunice Mims, Brother, Jesse Charles Mims. Friends will be received Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev.
