Alvin R. Williams

Alvin Ray Williams passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017. Visitation is 12:45-2:00 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 2:00 at Ridgecrest. Graveside services will be at Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton, AL. Survivors include his wife Of 64 years, Carolyn. He is also survived by son, Al Williams(Susan), daughter, Candy Hughes(Jeff), grandchildren Reid Williams(Laura), Pete Williams(Jamie), Allie Hughes, and Micah Hughes and 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Wiliiams retired from CSX Railroad in 1996 after 33 years of service. Pall bearers are Reid Williams, Pete Williams, Micah Hughes, Ben Williams, Gene Ousley, and Jerry Vines. Honorary pallbearers are all active and retired CSX Railroad employees.
