Alvis Leona Liveoak, 91, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away July 30, 2020 in Thorsby, AL. She was born February 18, 1929 in Chilton, daughter of the late Claude Dawson and Callie Dawson. She was a Garment Maker and Caretaker. Surviving are her Son, Doug (Irell) Liveoak, Son, Donald (Lou) Liveoak, Daughter, Joyce (James) Hill. 6 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Sister, Claudia Sawyer, Sister, Rosa Barnes, Brother, George Dawson & A Host of Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Coy Liveoak, Father, Claude Dawson, Mother, Callie Mae Edwards Dawson, Son, Tony Liveoak, Grandson, Ray Liveoak, Brothers, Arlene Dawson, and Rev. Joe Dawson, Sister, Gwendolyn Ray. Friends will be received Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Mt Carmel Baptist Church #1. Services will be held Sunday, August 2, 2020, at 2:00 pm. at Mt Carmel Baptist Church #1 with Rev. Wendell Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist #1 Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mt. Carmel Baptist #1 cemetery fund. Facial coverings and social distancing are required.
