Amanda Lucile Mims, 97, of Clanton, Alabama passed away November 16, 2020 at St. Vincent's Chilton, Clanton, Alabama. She was born July 9, 1923 in Clanton, Alabama, daughter of Colonel Blackwell and Flettie Culp. She was a Lunchroom Worker. Surviving are her Daughter, Mary Sue (Ronnie) Porter; Daughter, Dianne (John) Trahan; Son, Donny (Dot) Mims; Son, Wendell (Carolyn) Mims; 9 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Her Husband, Roy Mims; Father, Colonel Blackwell; Mother, Flettie Culp. Friends will be received Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, November 20, 2020, with a viewing from 10:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. followed by service at 11:00 a.m. at Clanton First Assembly of God with Rev. Randy Reid officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Assembly of God Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
