She was born July 9, 1923 in Clanton, Alabama, daughter of Colonel Blackwell and Flettie Culp. She was a Lunchroom Worker. Surviving are her Daughter, Mary Sue (Ronnie) Porter; Daughter, Dianne (John) Trahan; Son, Donny (Dot) Mims; Son, Wendell (Carolyn) Mims; 9 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Her Husband, Roy Mims; Father, Colonel Blackwell; Mother, Flettie Culp. Friends will be received Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, November 20, 2020, with a viewing from 10:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. followed by service at 11:00 a.m. at Clanton First Assembly of God with Rev. Randy Reid officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Assembly of God Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
