Andrew J. "Bill" Blackerby, 97, of Montevallo died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in Birmingham. He was born on Tuesday, March 3, 1914 in Shelby Co., AL, Son of the late William Blackerby and the late Janie Crane Blackerby. He was a retired Truck Driver. Surviving are 2 Daughters, Betty F. (George) Stinson of Alabaster, AL, Darlene (Brad) Killingsworth of Montevallo, AL; 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, A host of Nieces, Nephews and other Family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Blackerby; daughter, Judy Thornton and son, Jeff Blackerby. Friends will be received from 10-11, Friday, September 16, 2011 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, September 16, 2011, at 11:00 am. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Earl Davenport officiating.
