He was born on Wednesday, June 24, 1953 in Alabama, Son of the late John Cox, Jr. and Mary Frances Cox. He was a Carpenter. Surviving are Sons, Terry Wayne Cox of Clanton, AL, Andy Shawn Cox of Clanton, AL; Daughters, Rachel Nicole Cox of Clanton, AL, Tonya Cox Tindol of Billingsley, AL; Mother, Mary Frances Cox of Clanton, AL; Sisters, Judy Headley of Clanton, AL, Angie Nix of Jemison, AL, Tina Martin of Jemison, AL; Brothers, Jerry Cox of Clanton, AL, Tommy Cox of Billingsley, AL; 13 Grandchildren, Numerous Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father, John Cox, Jr. Friends will be received from 6-8pm, Wednesday, May 27, 2015 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at New Cedron with Rev. Lynn Roe and Rev. Jospeh Bright officiating. Interment will follow in New Cedron, Billingsley, Alabama.
