She was born on Monday, May 15, 1933 in Bibb Co., AL, Daughter of the late Ovid Merchant, Sr. and the late Vera Simmons Merchant. She was a Homemaker, Queen Mother of the Red Hat Flashers, Bibb Medical Auxilary, Randolph Baptist Church Senior Adult Lady Sunday School Class, Lawley Homemakers Club, Randolph Elementary School Alumni, Officer of the Gateway Foundation. Surviving are her Husband, Mr. Lee Williams of Randolph, AL; Son, Mr. Allen (Kelli) Williams of Buffalo, MN; Daughter, Mrs. Vicki (Randy) Burrows of Grand Rapids, MI; 9 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild; Sisters, Mrs. Virginia Miller of Randolph, AL, Mrs. Doris Smitherman of Randolph, AL, Mrs. Marjory Bates of Randolph, AL; Brother, Mr. Ovid Merchant, Jr. of Randolph, AL. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Ovid & Vera Merchant. Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Randolph Baptist Church.
