She was born on Thursday, January 11, 1940 in Alabama, Daughter of the late William Floyd Cofer and the late Emma Evelyn Atkinson Cofer. She was a Bookkeeper. Surviving are Son, David Lynn (Tammy) Adams of Clanton, AL; Daughters, Malissia (Kenneth) Powell of Clanton, AL, Myra Patterson of Verbena, AL; 5 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Doris Mims of Clanton, AL, Rosa Armstrong of Fultondale, AL; Sister-in-Law, Mildred Cofer of Clanton, AL. She was preceded in death by her Husband, J.D. Adams, Brother, Billy Cofer and Son-in-Law, Gary Patterson. Friends will be received from 10-11, Wednesday, October 7, 2015 @ Providence Baptist #2. Services will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at Providence #2 Baptist Church with Rev. Evie Megginson and Rev. Glenn Bonds officiating.
