He was born on Sunday, August 12, 1934 in Bibb Co., AL, Son of the late Ward Grady Mayfield and the late Velma Ann Mitchell Mayfield. He was a Vocational Instructor. Surviving are his Wife, Faye Mayfield of Maplesville, AL; 2 Sons, Garry (Sheree) Mayfield of Maplesville, AL, Jerome (Janet) Mayfield of Orange Beach, AL; 3 Granddaughters, Janice Walley, Morgan Mayfield, Katie Shirling; Grandson, Justin Mayfield; Great-Grandchild, Jesslyn Maddox. Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, October 10, 2011 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at Cox Chapel Methodist Church with Rev.
