Audrey G. Cox, 88, of Clanton died at her home Saturday, August 13,2016. She was born on January 28, 1928 in Chilton County, Alabama, daughter of the late John Thomas Gothard and the Late Jewell Lee Martin Gothart. She was a school teacher. Surviving are Husband, J. Raymond Cox of Clanton, Daughter, Janice Isley of Clanton, Daughter, Brother, James C. Gothard of Lavonia, GA, Brother, Donald C. Gothard of Columbiana, Sister, Betty Dunham of Millbrook, Children by marriage, Sherry Cox and Christy Glenn of Clanton, Grandchildren, Craig Isley, Paige Nelson Green (Steren), Leighton Nelson (Ginna), Kelsey Moore, Chris Craig (Angela), Cam Craig, Clint Glenn, Great Grandchildren, Avery Powell, Carlisle Audrey-Anna Green, Landry Green, Colsen Craig, Caysen Craig. She was preceded in death by her first Husband, H. Ford Hardy, Daughter, Myra Ann Nelson and Daughter, Brenda Moore. Friends will be received from 5 until 7, Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, August 15, 2016, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Martin Funeral Home.
