Barbara Littlejohn peacefully stepped into eternity on Saturday, August 29, 2026 in Clanton, Alabama. As Barbara’s health began to decline, she maintained the same persistent yet gentle presence we’ve always known and loved. We take comfort in knowing that she is now fully healed, fully whole, and more alive than ever in the presence of our Lord. Barbara was a devoted daughter, sibling, and aunt. She kept a close eye on her brothers and took pride in serving Sunday dinners to a house full of people. While she wasn’t the type to command a room, fried chicken was her speciality, and she would quickly let you know that hers was the best.Barbara was blessed with 76 years of life. She is survived by her brother, Ricky Littlejohn (Pam Littlejohn); sister-in-law, Reta Littlejohn, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Hiram Littlejohn; Mother, Nelion Littlejohn; eight siblings: Faye Littlejohn, Ed Littlejohn, Billy Dan Littlejohn, Stella Littlejohn, Roger Littlejohn, Harry Littlejohn, Fred Littlejohn, and Larry Littlejohn; and her nephew, Ditt Littlejohn. A graveside service for immediate family will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
