Beatrice Cagle

Beatrice Cagle, 96, of Verbena, Alabama passed away October 5, 2020 at St. Vincent's Chilton Medical Center. She was born February 25, 1924 in Coosa County, daughter of Charles Emory Thornton and Mary Agnes Thornton. She was a Lunchroom Worker at Verbena High School. Surviving are her Daughter, Carolyn Teel, Daughter, Karen (Bobby) Cagle, Daughter, Shelia (Larry) Jones, Son, Randy (Bonnie) Cagle, 10 Grandchildren, a host of Great-Grandchildren, Sister, Marie Johnson, Special Niece, Patsy Crawford, Numerous Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by Her Father, Charles Emory Thornton, Mother, Mary Agnes Thornton, Husband, Horace Cagle, Daughter, Mary Aldene Lowman, and 2 Brothers & 6 Sisters. Friends will be received Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at 2:30 pm. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Bert Tippett and Rev. Dennis Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery, Verbena, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
