Benny Eugene Mims, 76, of Clanton, Alabama passed away February 24, 2023, at St. Vincent's Chilton in Clanton, Alabama.
He was born June 11, 1946 in Alabama, son of the late Houston Mims and the late Dean Mims.
He was an Investigator.
Surviving are his Wife, Eloise Mims; Son, Duane Mims; Granddaughter, Hannah Hughes; Grandson, Collin Mims; Brother, Roger Mims.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Houston Mims; Mother, Dean Mims; Son, Nathan Mims.
Friends will be received Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Hughes officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Methodist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
In Lieu of Flowers the family ask for donations to be made to Pleasant Grove Methodist Church at 9189 County Road 37, Clanton, Alabama 35045.
