She was born on Thursday, February 4, 1932 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Turner Gamble and the late Ethel Thompson Gamble. She was a Clerk. Surviving are her Sister, Pat Gamble Ammons of Hoover, AL; Brother, John (Karen) Gamble of Alabaster, AL; Nephew, Stan Ammons of Pleasant Grove, AL; Nieces, Suzie Ammons Houghton of Cleveland, GA, Sally Ammons Doak of Hoover, AL; Step-Children, Helen Marie Rewland, TX, Doris Coker of Hoover, AL, Elaine Monroe of Birmingham, AL, Ernie Peters of Jemison, AL; Host of Niece & Nephew and Family Members. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ernest Peters; Step-Son, David Peters. Friends will be received from 10-11, Friday, September 20, 2013 at Mineral Springs Baptist Church. Services will be held Friday, September 20, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Mineral Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Rothe officiating. Interment will follow in Mineral Springs Cemetery, Clanton.
