Berligh Emmett Edwards, 93, of Deatsville, Alabama passed away March 19, 2026, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL.

He was born September 25, 1932, in Alabama, son of the late Emmett Edwards and the late Ophelia Edwards.

He was a Police Officer.

Surviving are his Daughter, Susan (Butch) Tramel; Grandsons, Chris (Brandi) Tramel, Kevin Tramel, Jason (Tiffany) Lord; Granddaughter, Jennifer (Greg) Thompson; 10 Great-Grandchildren; 5 Brothers and 1 Sister; A host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Edna Ruth Tramel; Father, Emmett Lee Edwards; Mother, Ophelia Edwards; Son, Michael Lee Edwards; Brother, Eurchel Edwards.

Friends will be received Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held , March 24, 2026, at 11:15 a.m. at Mount Pisgah-Zion Ridge Cemetery with Rev Jody Hill officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Pisgah-Zion Ridge Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
