He was born on Friday, November 26, 1926 in White City, AL, Son of the late George Thomas Johnson, Sr. and the late Vonie McDonald Johnson. He was an Electrician. He was also a WWII Veteran in the Navy. Surviving are his Daughter, Linda (Kenneth) Giles of Mobile, AL; Son, Ted Johnson of Deland, FL; 4 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren; 4 Brothers, Mack Johnson of Millbrook, AL, Tommy Johnson of Clanton, AL, James William Johnson of Autaugaville, AL, Forrest Johnson of Montgomery, AL; 3 Sisters, Dorothy Taylor of Prattville, AL, Martha Pearl Bucklew of Prattville, AL, Lanette Tatum of Birmingham, AL. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Ida Mae Johnson and Daughter, Carol Higgins. Friends will be received from 9-10, Tuesday, June 29, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
