Bertha Irene HARRIS, 88, of Deatsville died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at her residence. She was born on Saturday, January 29, 1921 in Dante, Virginia, Daughter of the late Clarence E. Hall and the late Edna Frier Hall. She was a Medical Transcriptionist. Surviving are her 2 Daughters, Deanna Rose (Lee) Roach of Freemont, IN, Marcia Dolin of Harrison, MI; 3 Sisters, Dorothy Bailey of Bradenton, FL, Joyce Milton of Castlewood, VA; Patsy (Joe) Headley (Owners of Patsy Kitchen of Marbury, AL, 10 Grandchildren, 20 plus Great-Grandchildren , A host of nieces and nephews, A special niece Leslie (Juan Luis) Sosa, A special niece Myra (Jim) Tillery, A special nephew Lee (Sheila) James, A special great niece, Miriah Sosa, A special great niece, Sierra Sosa, A special great niece, Natalie James, Special thanks to caregiver, Ginger Bailey; 2 Brothers, Earnest Hall of Sherwood, OH, Fred Hall of Moncks Corner, SC. She was preceded in death by: Husband, William Harris; Daughter, Betsy Brown; Granddaughter, Wendy Edwards; Great-Grandson, Todd Motley; 2 Sisters, Maggie Williams and Ann Gibson; 2 Brothers, Donald Hall and Calvin Hall. Friends will be received from 6-8, Sunday, May 31, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, June 1, 2009, at 11:00AM. at Wadsworth Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Wadsworth Baptist Cemetery, Deatsville, AL Martin Funeral Home directing.
