Bertie Irene Bryant, 98, of Clanton died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Tuesday, March 21, 1916 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Daniel Patterson and the late Betty Elizabeth Dennis Patterson. She was a Practical Nurse. Surviving are her Daughters, Ruth (Earl) Deloach of Clanton, AL, Hazel (James) Brand of Clanton, AL; 8 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, 14 Great-Great Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great-Great Grandchildren, A host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Roland Bryant; Daughter, Catherine Kerins; Son, Bobby J. Bryant. Friends will be received from 12-2 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Jim Shannon officiating. Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Bapt. Cem., Verbena, AL.
