Bertie Jo Ray, 79, of Clanton died Monday, September 27, 2010 at 325 County Road 1028, Clanton. She was born on Friday, July 24, 1931 in Walker Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late James Peyton Moore and the late Minta Compton Winters Moore. She was an Insurance Claims Adjuster. Surviving are 3 Daughters, Donna Ray (Tim) McDow of Shelby Co., AL, Sharon (Tim) King of Clanton, AL, Lisa (Bruce) Witt of Woodstock, AL; 20 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, 2 Brothers, 3 Sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Noel Ray. Friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 am, Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Martin Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, September 30, 2010, at 11:00 am. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Tony Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery, McCalla, Alabama.
