Bette Carol Easterling

Bette Carol Easterling, 59, of Jemison passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 at her home. She was born on Saturday, June 23, 1956 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Arlis Hodgens Fox. In her younger years, Bette Carol hauled produce with her husband through South Alabama and raised her children. As she grew older, her health declined and she became mostly confined to her home, where she was always kept company by her "furry companions". She leaves two of her pups behind, Yoshee & Hershee, that she loved dearly. Surviving are her Husband of 44 years, Carl Easterling of Jemison, AL; Daughter, Michelle (Paul) Smith of Jemison, AL; Son, Jeffrey Easterling of Auburn, AL; Nephews, Dell and Brian Langston both of Clanton, AL; the only Father she knew for 40 years, James L. Fox. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Arlis Fox; Sister, Evelyn Hicks. Friends will be received from 12-2 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Martin Funeral Home.
