Ms. Betty Lou Bice

Born September 3, 1927 to the late H. Hall and Birtie Holsomback

Ms. Betty (AKA) Grandmama to everyone who knew her passed away at her home July 25, 2024. She was a homemaker and devoted wife to her husband of 49 years before becoming a widow. Grandmama spent many years volunteering at The Shelby Baptist Association thrift store, where she made many friends and treated them all as family. She had a kind heart and never let you leave her house hungry.  She will be greatly missed.

Ms. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Bice, Daughters Betty Gene Moore (Johnnie) Mary Latham (Larry) and Granddaughter Paula Latham.

Survivors include Three Grandchildren Gayla Popwell (Nick) Carrie Boothe (Allen Hall) and Rennic Moore (Jenny)

8 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation with family will be Saturday August 10, 11 a.m. at Aldrich First Baptist Church (Montevallo, Alabama) Followed by a Celebration of Life Service 12 p.m.  Brother Eddie Pearce officiating.
