Betty Carroll Mims

Betty Carroll Mims, 90, of Clanton, Alabama passed away May 14, 2022 at her residence.

She was born March 2, 1932 in Alabama, daughter of the late William Carroll and the late Celestia Watson Carroll.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her Daughters, Joan Emmerich, Rebecca Beck, Jan (Len) Traywick, Joy (Gary) Jones, Judy (Hal) Ellison; Sons, Gary Paul (Bonnie) Mims, Jason (LaShonda) Mims; Sister, Jean Giles; Brothers, Clark Carroll, Dale Carroll; 15 Grandchildren; 30 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Paul L. Mims; Daughter, Jennifer Mims; Daughter-in-law, Martha Mims; Sons-in-Law, David Bean, Jim Beck; Father, William Henry Carroll; Mother, Celestia Watson Carroll; 10 Brothers and Sisters.

Friends will be received Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Hopper officiating.

Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
