Betty Jo Barrett Johnson

Betty Jo Barrett Johnson, 76, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 7, 2023, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Alabama.

She was born August 17, 1946, in Alabama, daughter of the late Elvin Barrett and the late Willie Barrett.

She was a Homemaker who loved her family dearly.

Surviving are her Husband, Clay Johnson; Daughters, Sherry Wyatt and Jane (Randy) Schuffert; Sons, Kenny (Audrey) Johnson, Ricky Johnson and Rodney (Paula) Johnson; Nine Grandchildren,

Sixteen Great-Grandchildren and Five Great Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Gertie Sanders, Margaret "Tink" Smartt and Annie Cleckler; and a host of other family members.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Elvin Barrett; Mother, Willie Mae Barrett; Grandson, Kenneth Brad Johnson; Five Brothers and Sisters.

Friends will be received Monday, July 10, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Monday, July 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Hicks officiating.

Interment will follow in Providence Baptist #2 Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
