Betty Jean Jones

Betty Jean Jones, 83, of Clanton, Alabama passed away peacefully at her residence on November 3, 2019 at Residence, Clanton, AL. She was born December 29, 1935 in Chilton Co., daughter of the late Clifford Foshee and the late Myrtle Headley Foshee . She was the first female Police Officer of Clanton Police Department from 1980-1989. Surviving are Son, Derrick (Shera) Minor, Grandson, Ricky Minor, Grandson, Chase Minor, Brother, Charlie Foshee, Brother, Ray (Linda) Foshee, Niece, Becky Roper, Niece, Sherry Lucas, Niece, Tammy Edwards, Cousin, Glenda (Herchel) Little, Caregiver, Ann Popwell, Caregiver, Wilma Headley, A Number of Other Family & Friends. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jimmie Jones, Jr., Sister-in-Law, Maxine Foshee. Friends will be received Monday, November 4, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Services will be held November 5, 2019, at 11:00 am. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with William O. Maddox & Rev. Dale Collins officiating.
