Betty Jean Poe Miller, 87, of Clanton died Saturday, January 6, 2018. She was born on Tuesday, October 21, 1930 in Alabama, Daughter of the late Willie Wilbert Poe and the late Ruby Jean Haywood Hammitt. She was a Bookkeeper. Surviving are Husband, Charles Edward "Pete" Miller of Clanton, AL; Son, Larry (Connie) Simpson of Clanton, AL; Daughters, Connie (Malcom) Ensor of Clanton, AL, Peggy (Tim) Chapell of Clanton, AL; Sister, Billie Dutton of Bessemer, AL; Brother-in-Law, Billy Don Miller, Texas; Host of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Father, Bill Poe, Mother, Jean Hammitt. Friends will be received from 10-11, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 @ Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cem., Clanton, Alabama.
