Betty H. Nicholson, 86, of Deatsville died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at St. Martin's in the Pines, Irondale. She was born on Tuesday, March 31, 1931 in Anniston, AL, Daughter of the late Henry Grady Hilyer and the late Ruby Mae Glazner Hilyer. She was a RN. Surviving are Daughter, Betty L. "BJ" Nicholson of Deatsville, AL; Sons, Grady Darrell (Donna) Nicholson of Sardis, AL, James Wade Nicholson of Verbena, AL; 12 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, Numerous Nieces & Nephews; Sister, Wanda Gentry of Clanton, AL. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Harold Thomas Nicholson, Son, Harold Wayne Nicholson, Grandson, Phillip Scott Nicholson, Brothers, Henry, Clarence, Bobby and Douglas Hilyer. Friends will be received from 12:30-1, Friday, October 6, 2017 @ Martin Chapel. Services will be held Friday, October 6, 2017, at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. William Earl Short officiating.
